The main theme for the 2022 Login conference was #digitalspring, with a surreal dandelion as its symbol.
Style exploration
We took this challenge head-on and started exploring what this futuristic meta-dandelion could look like.
Style exploration
We began working on the mechanics of the dandelion animation once we were close to the desired look.
Animatic
The motion sequence had to be easy to adapt. For it to work, we opted for a 1:1 aspect ratio composition. It allowed us to crop and extract specific video clips on the go.
Selected frames
A number of still frames with resolutions ranging from Full-HD to 10k were created. It found its way into various mediums, starting with printed banners and ending with the animated stage background.
